Un bel Ferragosto! - A good Ferragosto

Mamma mia, quanto è faticoso essere un fox terrier di questi tempi! Camminare, dormire, mangiare, mangiare e poi mangiare ancora. Per Ferragosto il padre della mia umana mi ha fatto un bel regalo: un SACCO di biscotti! Un sacchetto pienissimo! Quasi due chili di finissimi e buonissimi biscotti di vario tipo, tutti per me e anche se l'umana li razionerà di sicuro, conto di farmene smollare almeno un paio al giorno! Ho ricevuto anche uno dei miei snack preferiti, le orecchie di maiale secche! Chiedo scusa ai vegetariani, ma a me queste orecchie piacciono davvero molto. Il mio quindici agosto è andato decisamente bene, come supplemento serale, nella ciotola, ho trovato anche una bella porzione di lasagne mischiata ai miei croccantini! Che festa, ragazzi, gli umani dicono che il 15 Agosto è il giorno più caldo dell'anno, per me invece è stato di sicuro il più grasso!

Be a fox terrier these days is really tough! Walking, sleeping, eating, eating and then eating again. It was Ferragosto (15 Agoust) some days ago and the father (papà) of my human brought me a nice present: a BAG full of biscuits! At least two kilos of fine and sweet biscuits in different shapes all for me, the human will ration them for sure but I certainly have a couple every day! I also received one of my favourite snacks, dried pig ears to chew! I'm sorry for all the vegetarians out there, but I like dried pig ears a lot. My Ferragosto went really well: in the evening, as a extra, I found in my bowl a portion of lasagne mixed with my kibbles! What a day, dogs, the humans say the 15th of Agoust is the hottest day of the year, but for me it was the fattest!
