La mia umana ha nascosto la mia pillola per il mal d'auto nella torta di mele. Devo ammettere che ho notato quasi subito uno strano retrogusto, ma per non darle soddisfazione ho deciso di ingollarla al volo, senza nemmeno masticare! Questa famigerata pillola, dal poco rassicurante nome di "killitan" (già che c'erano potevano chiamarla "killican"), impiega circa un'ora per fare effetto (in dieci minuti potrebbe stendere pure un alano), così, prima di salire in auto per il ritorno, ho fatto l'ultima passeggiata ed ho radunato tutti i miei acquisti. Alla partenza il mio zainetto era dieci volte più pesante dell'andata...Dato che oggi è domenica il negozio di robe per animali (l'animalaio, come lo chiamo io) era chiuso, e l'umana ha dovuto rinunciare a comprare un altro pollo di plastica. Dice che è un vero peccato perché ne avrebbe voluto un altro per lei, visto che quello che ha comprato per me è durato meno di un'ora ed ha fatto coccodé per circa dieci minuti - prima che gli squarciassi la gola in cerca della valvola del suono (ne ho una collezione infinita di valvole, ho distrutto vari giochini nella mia carriera di divoratore di plastica) - infine, l'umana sostiene non sia il massimo mettere in bocca a Eubie un giochino che costa quasi 10€...

My human hided the pill for car sickness in a piece of apple pie. I soon smelled there was something wrong, but I won't give her satisfaction, so I swallowed it without even a single bite. This famigerate pill, with the not reassuring name "killitan" ( they can call it "killadog" for what is worth) needs almost a hour to work ( in ten minutes it can lay down a great dane) so, before leaving Porto Recanati, I did a last walk in the town and made my bag, now ten times heavier than when I've arrived. Because it's sunday the animal shop (I call it animalaio) was closed and my human couldn't buy another big plastic chicken. She said it was a pity find it closed, because she really wanted another one for herself this time, not for me. She said it's not good thing giving Eubie a 10€ plastic chicken that after less than ten minutes got its throat slashed while I'm searching the sound valve.

Appena salito in macchina avevo il muso completamente sballato. Il killitan mi ha dato il colpo di grazia, forse è stato meglio così perché nonostante l'odorino proveniente dal sacchetto del pranzo, le mie zampe si sono rifiutate di darsi una mossa. Nella foto qui sotto infatti si può notare l'occhio sveglio tipico di un fox terrier doppato! E dire che ce l'ho messa tutta per aprire quel maledetto sacchetto, non esiste che un sacchetto con del cibo dentro resti intatto se son lì di fianco! Comunque il mio muso sballato e confuso ha avuto ha evocato quel senso di pietà nella mia umana che mi ha fatto guadagnare un bocconcino di carne ogni tanto... e meno male, stavo morendo di fame, mica sono poche 5 ore di macchina per tornarmene a casuccia mia!

As I jumped inside the car that damned killitan gave me the coup de grace, despite the delicious smell from the lunch bag, my poor paws refused to move, my muso (dog face in barkitalian) was frozen in a stupor. In this picture you can see the typical sleepy eyes of a doped terrier! It never happened before that food can stay untouched next to me for so long. I swear I did my best to for opening that damned food bag! But my dazy and confused muso had the better on my human, who, once in a while gave me a bit of meat...thank goodness, I was starving! It takes 5 hours to go back to my sweet little cuccia (home for dog)
